Chris Brooks was 15 when he started Hospital Radio in Eastbourne. Since then Chris has worked for many stations in the UK, including Chiltern FM, Northants 96, Horizon Radio, Metro Radio, Galaxy 101, Kix 96, Essex FM (where he presented a show with former 5ive member Scott Robinson) and the GWR Network.

Chris has now realised his childhood ambition to work at Capital FM but he still keeps in touch with Scott playing poker with him most weeks.

Chris currently presents the weekday afternoon show (1pm-4pm) on the relaunched Capital Radio.

In 2006 he launched the interactive radio quiz show 'Cash Call' which airs on the GCAP network.

He lives in Essex with his wife Karen, and has 2 kids Kirsty and Harry. He supports Watford Football Club.

Chris appeared in the first ever episode of poker chat show Heads Up with Richard Herring to discuss his career and his love of poker.
