Chris Begg

Chris Begg (born September 12, 1979 in Uxbridge, Ontario) is a Canadian baseball pitcher.
A graduate of Niagara University, Begg was signed up as an undrafted free agent by the San Francisco Giants in 2003. He was part of Team Canada in the 2004 Summer Olympics who finished in fourth place. Begg was also named the 2003 MAAC Pitcher of the Year. Chris pitched for Canada in the World Baseball Classic. Begg currently plays for the Connecticut Defenders, the Giants AA affiliate.
Begg's first baseball coach was Brian Dyke in Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada.
