[edit] Fame
As Lamb Of God gained more recognition throughout the years, Adler's reputation as a proficient drummer in the metal scene grew as well. Typically, he would write his drum parts after his band-mates had brought him some riffs and ideas. As seen on the Killadelphia DVD, Chris tried to create unique music while not taking anything away from the riffs or the song itself.
Utilizing strong symmetry in his drumming, and being highly skilled in his double bass work, Adler also creates unique sticking patterns to go along with his very unique double bass playing style.
[edit] Equipment
Chris Adler uses Saturn Series Mapex drums, Gibraltar hardware, Aquarian drumheads, Axis Pedals and Meinl Percussion cymbals, alongside with a Paiste Flanger bell cymbal. He also designed his own 24" Meinl MB20 signature ride cymbal, as well as his own 'Chris Adler' Pro-Mark drum sticks.
