The Chouseishin Series (超星神シリーズ Chōseishin Shirīzu?), translated as Super Star God Series, is the name of a tokusatsu superhero TV franchise which debuted in Japan in 2003. The Chouseishin Series are produced by Toho Company, Ltd., and Konami, in order to compete with Toei's Super Sentai Series.

The Chouseishin Series are:

  • Chouseishin Gransazer (Super Star God GranSazer) - 2003/2004: The Gransazers involves a group of 12 ordinary people who have the power to transform and don the Gransazer battle suits, that were created by an ancient race of humans, before an alien alliance wiped them out millions of years ago. The Gransazers are divided into 4 tribes: flame, wind, earth, and water. Each tribe has an Ultra Star God, which they can summon only when the three Gransazers of each tribe join together and use their Knuckle Risers. These Ultra Star Gods are each 150 metres tall and have special weapons and finishing moves like the Gransazers. The Gransazers also have the Cloud Dragon and Guntras as allies. The Cloud Dragon is sentient, like Guntras and the Ultra Star Gods, and can carry and heal the Ultra Star Gods, as well as help counter alien threats with its Galactica Prominence Cannon. Guntras is a massive sentient robot that has many weapons, i.e. laser battery, and can combine with the other Ultra Star Gods to form the ultimate Daisazer. Together with these aids, the Gransazers combat alien threats that threaten to annihilate Earth and mankind.
