The Chosun Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. is a Korean ship- manufacturer, currently the largest in the world. To get a sense of its size, over 10% of all Chinese exports are accomplished by Chosun-made ships. The Chosun Heavy Industry Co. is known for their precision, quality, and reliance.

Aug. 1945 Company placed under government management, name changed to Korea Shipbuilding Engineering Corp. (KSEC)

Aug. 1967 Korea Dredging Corporation established (name changed to Hanjin Construction Co., Ltd., in 1990)
