[edit] Other
Chortiatis has kindergartens (Νηπιαγωγεία), elementary schools (Δημοτικά Σχολεία), middle schools (Γυμνάσια) and high schools (Λύκεια). Most of them are located in Asvestohori since it has the highest population. The Filyro High School and the Chortiatis High School were recently constructed. Construction of more schools is being discussed because the constant increase of population in the area leads to a major school hosting problem.
