Cholokashvili

Cholokashvili were a senior noble (tavadi’s) family from late medieval/early modern Georgia with their principal apanages in Kakheti. A branch was also known as Irubakidze-Cholokashvili.
Prominent members of the family
- Bidzina Cholokashvili headed the 1659 heroic uprising against the Persian aggression; martyred by the Persians, he was canonized by the Georgian Orthodox Church.
- Nikoloz Cholokashvili (Nicholas Irbachi), diplomat and priest
- Kakutsa Cholokashvili, national hero of Georgia
