Chocomel is a chocolate flavoured milk, produced by Riedel (part of Friesland Foods concern) in the dutch town, Ede. it used to be produced by Nutricia and is widely available in the netherlands and in Belgium (in Belgium under the name of Cécémel)the brand's slogan is 'the only real one' (de Enige Echte in Dutch, in Belgium as 'La seul vrai) In the netherlands the brand is so widely known it is sometimes, falsely, used in a sentence instead of Chocolate milk (chocolademelk in dutch), even if it is from another brand.
It contains:
- partially skimmed milk
- Sugar
- Cocoa (1,9%)
- Carragen, a stabiliser
it has a mokka, a light and a half-fat variant.
