CHOT is a television station. It is the TVA affiliate in Gatineau, Quebec, and also serves franco-ontarians in the neighbouring city of Ottawa, Ontario.
CHOT, owned by Radio-Nord as a twinstick with CFGS, broadcasts on channel 40.
The station launched in 1978, following the bankruptcy of the region's earlier TVA affiliate CFVO.
The local 30-minute newscast is broadcast every weekday at 6:00PM. In the past, CHOT originally had local news on weekends and a 15-minute newscast at noon on weekdays, but recent cuts made by Radio-Nord had these newscasts replaced with Montreal-based TVA network news programs.
