Chlumec nad Cidlinou (IPA: [ˈxlʊmɛts ˈnat t͡sɪdlɪnoʊ̯]) is a city of the Czech Republic in Bohemia, Hradec Králové Region.

It is situated near Hradec Králové on the confluence of rivers Cidlina and Bystřice. Scenery around city is slightly waved and town is lying at average height 206 metres above sea level. Nearest neighbourhood is encased with gardens and after it the town is often called Town in gardens.

Chateau Karlova Koruna is dominating to view of town.
