I'm afraid we might not have enough people on board. Should we extend the duration to two? We can change it back to one once we figure out two is too much. --Jiang 11:06, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Sounds good to me. Maybe we should also consider moving to another article, even if the article of the week(s) has not reached a featured article level. olivier 06:44, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Voting scheme
I have changed the voting scheme. There must be some way to account for possible potential serious objections—not merely neutrality—on a future vote. —Lowellian (talk)[[]] 17:42, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)
Those who seriously object to a choice of topic should just abstain from helping. Surely there is a lot to do on Wikipedia besides worrying about who gets voted. Vote with your feet and sit out one week if the "wrong" candidate gets chosen :) --Malbear 12:00, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] China related
Can we expand the scope to "Chinese" related rather than "China" Related per se? That way we achieve a few things
1) More people to help out since then all Chinese everywhere will have some personal experience to contribute. 2) More potential topics rather then seeing this wind down to a point where we discuss "China-Tahiti relationships" (sorry, kidding about this one) --Malbear 12:00, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
