The claim that there are "only about 500" Chinese-Cubans appears to be grossly inaccurate. For example, the 2006 World Almanac says that Chinese-Cubans account for 1% of Cuba's population of over 11 million. Even if the Almanac is off by a factor of 10, this still means more than 20 times as many Chinese-Cubans as the article states.
