Melia azedarach is also a native of Australia. Peter1968 02:11, 2 September 2005 (UTC)

Is the spelling Melia azaderach in error ? I am under the impression that the species name is due to the resemblance of its leaves to Azadirachta indica Shyamal 12:12, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Azedarach is a Persian word. Without Googling for what it means, I wouldn't be surprised if that and azadirachta have a common origin. Peter1968 06:20, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

Another binomial spelling is Melia azadirach, but I cannot find a source to check the correctness. Shyamal 06:40, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
IPNI says M. azedarach es the right form. Others may be misspellings. Taragüí @ 17:28, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
