About the Note Jiang removed Whether or not Republic of China is a country is controversial, please see Political status of Taiwan for more.

Quote Jiang: "it exists, whether in legitimate form or not"

I agree that it exist, that's why I only added the note instead of removing it from country altogether. I added the note because of it's controversial status, which readers should know. --Hunter 10:27, 2 May 2005 (UTC)

disambiguations provide possible choices. we dont insist on one. the controversy does not need to be explained for people looking for certain pages to find their way--Jiang 10:48, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
OK, if you posted this as reason I may not have raised the question. --Hunter 11:01, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
I'm deleting most of the "see-also"s relating to Taiwan/ROC. I don't think the disambiguation page is the place for those links, and the explanation attached to "ROC" is long enough as it is. If a user is interested in finding out more about it, they can simply go to the ROC link. --Sumple (Talk) 12:09, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chyna

I have no interest in professional wrestling, but on a disambiguation page, everything goes. This will never be a featured article candidate; it exists only to clear up confusion. If someone tries to find the wrestler by spelling "China" as it is most frequently spelled, I don't think a disambiguation note is too radical for anyone. If someone objects to the manner in which I am putting it back in, feel free to change the formatting, but the content itself is perfectly relevant. Thanks, BDD 23:20, 6 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Fine China

How many people typing in Fine China is expecting to find a band, rather than porcelain? Perhaps the name of the band page should be changed to "Fine China (band)"? Oh and that badn page has serious npov problems: Their previous album "You Make Me Hate Music" was so well received by fans and critics alike that it guarantees them a permanent place in the hearts and the record shelves of pop lovers everywhere. Sure. --Sumple (Talk) 11:03, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Works for me. --Usgnus 14:53, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Subtopic 'Music'

Humm, why aren't China (album), Fine China (band) and china cymbal listed under the subtopic 'music'? I think I'll reorder the lists for that part. Bwa ha ha. 130.231.89.99 13:33, 5 December 2006 (UTC) Matti Nuortio, Oulu, Finland
