"Traditional" chili is defined as having no beans in it in this article. That makes this is not a neutral article. Whether or not you think chili should have beans in it is akin to your views on transubstantiation in communion - not a neutral subject.

Also, chili beans are, in the Northeast at least, a variety of bean that is used in chili. They are reddish and look kind of like kidney beans, but they are smaller, more flavorful and have a more tender skin.

I always heard that chili beans referred to the beans (such as kidney beans) and not to the chili itself. Pnkrockr 19:22, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
