Talk:Chicken strips
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I noticed the picture of the 'chicken strip' is of the front tyre of the motorcycle, which is inconsistant with the article that the chicken strip indicator is on the rear tyre. I believe the rear tyre is the true indicator of the chicken strip. Perhaps the picture needs an update to this effect. - takagawa-kun 1 July 2005 18:28 (UTC)
[edit] Correct you are.
It is EXTREMELY difficult to wear the chicken strips on the front tire, even on a racebike. I usually only have about 1/4 inch on each side on the rear, but easily 1 inch is left on the front. I am by no means a racer, but I do enjoy the lean.
Nope.. Chicken Strip is the front and back the back tire... The better you the smaller chicken strip you have on both tires...
