Pablo Picasso completed Les Demoiselles d'Avignon in 1907. Although a study of Les Demoiselles d'Avignon appeared in the May 1910 edition of the Architectural Record[1], Les Demoiselles d'Avignon itself was not displayed at an art exhibit until 1916 [2]. It wasn't published in France until 1925, when it appeared in La Révolution surréaliste [3]. |
