The geography of the Chicagoland area. The highest point is in McHenry County (1189 feet above mean sea level) near Harvard. The lowest points are located in Will County (510 feet above mean sea level) near the Des Plaines and Kankakee Rivers. The images are merged from the Illinois State Geological Survey's website.
