Chiswick Community School is located in the borough of Hounslow in West London and currently has 1241 students as well as 209 Sixth Form students, which the school also accommodates. Chiswick Community School was formerly an all girls school but at some point in the early 20th Century became a mixed comprehensive.

CCS is located beside Chiswick House and it takes a picture of the house as its logo. Most of the buildings are new but the North Eastern block still remains from when it was intended to be an all girls school. Before the school was built a farm was on the site. Due to its location it has a very wide catchment area taking pupils from the borough of Hounslow as well as Kensington and Chelsea, Richmond, Hammersmith and Fulham and Ealing.

CCS is a very multicutural school. It has students of African, Middle Eastern, Caribbean, European and British descent. Due to this it has double the national average of students for whom English is a second language. Over 1/4 of the school's pupil are deemed to have special needs. Due to the fact there are several prominent all girls schools in the local area, Chiswick Community School's intake is roughly 60% male.

In its last Ofsted report the school was deemed "good" with need for improvement in certain areas.
