Chiniot (Urdu: چنیوٹ) is located in Punjab, Pakistan. Chiniot is subdivisional headquarter of district Jhang in Faisalabad division. It is located on left bank bank of Chenab river at Sargodha Faisalabad road. The population of Chiniot is estimated to be 1.5 million. Chiniot is located at Latitude: 31.7200 and Longitude: 72.9789. The last speech of Allama Ihsan Elahi Zaheer (RH) in Chiniot was held in Post Office Ground at 20 March 1987.He addressed on Khatam-e-Nabuwat. After two days he was woundered in bomb blast at Lahore and died 30 Marck 1987 in Jaddah (Saudi Arabia). Jamiat Ahlehadeith is working in Chiniot for Tableegh of Quran o Sunnah.

Chiniot is on the bank of River Chenab, and is famous for its furniture industry, which it also exports. Its labor force is specially skilled in woodwork.

- Mausoleum of Shah Burhan
- It is a Mughal style mausleum of sofi saint Hazrat Shah Burhan.
- Shahi Mosque
- It was erected by the orders of Nawab Sa'adullah Khan who was the prime minister of Mughal empire during reign of Shah Jehan.
It is famous for producing a business community, they spread across the country and now own and control big industrial and business groups all over Pakistan. Chiniot is famous for its food dishes, especially "Kuna" (raw goat meat cooked in clay pot). The national language of Chiniot is Panjabi.
- Al-Rehman Computer & Science Lab
It is a fully equipped Computer & Science Lab. The unique aspect of this lab is that all the subjects are taught using latest audio-visual aids through computer. This is the only lab of this kind even in whole Faisalabad Division.
