Chingmy Yau (Chinese: 邱淑貞; pinyin: Qiū Shúzhēn; also known as Yau Suk Ching; born May 16, 1968) is a Hong Kong actress who no longer makes films although she is not formally retired.

Yau entered the Hong Kong film industry through a beauty pageant. She competed in the 1989 Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant but only took the title of Miss Photogenic. Rumors had it that she went under the knife thus leading to her departing from the pagent. However, joining the pagent was enough to win her several film roles. Her career did not take off until she became romantically involved with Hong Kong film director Wong Jing, even though he was married at the time. Chingmy Yau was the leading actress in the late 80's and early 90's, next to Maggie Cheung Man Yuk, Bridget Lin and Cheung Man. Wong cast her in a series of Category III films, though she never appeared nude in any of them. The most notable of these was Naked Killer (1992). During the height of her success, she regularly starred along side superstars like Jet Li, Stephen Chow, and Ekin Cheng.

In 1997 she split up with Wong and her career slowed down significantly.

In 1999 she married Hong Kong fashion designer Shen Jiawei and at present has two children. Though she has not officially retired from acting, she has made no announcements or plans to return in any film.
