Chinese Daoist Association is the main association of Daoism in the People's Republic of China. It is recognized as one of the main religious associations in the People's Republic of China. The Daoist Association advocates the recompensation of losses inflicted on Daoism by the Cultural Revolution. Daoism was banned for several years in the past in the People's Republic of China for several years. The Chinese Daoist Association advocates ecology.
