China Press (Chinese : 中國報 Chung Kuo Bao in mandarin) is a Malaysian Chinese-language newspaper first published in 1 February 1946 and was set up by Tun Henry Lee Hau Shik.

On May 13, 1969, China Press suspended for a month due to their publication on a court news after the 13 May Incident.

In 1988, after it was relaunched two years earlier, their daily circulation increased from 20,000 to 100,000 becoming the best bloom in the Malaysian Newspaper publication. Today its daily circulation 220,000 became the second best selling Chinese Daily Newspaper in Malaysia.

Due to their popularity in Malaysia, On 19 May 1990, China Press launched their evening version following its mission statement of Today News Tonight Know.

In 1993, Nanyang Press took over the management of China Press.
