China Northern flight 6901

On November 13, 1993, China Northern Airlines Flight 6901, a McDonnell Douglas MD-82 airliner originating from Beijing, crashed on approach to Diwopu International Airport in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China. Twelve of the 102 passengers and crew on board were killed. The accident has been attributed to pilot error.
