The China Daily Hong Kong Edition (Traditional Chinese: 中國日報香港版, Simplified Chinese: 《中国日报香港版》), published since October 6, 1997, is a state-run newspaper of the People's Republic of China and published in Hong Kong. A member of the China Daily Group, the 20-page paper is published daily except on Sundays. It is the only newspaper published by the PRC government in Hong Kong and Macao. It aims to report the policies and directions of the PRC government, and the politics, economy, and social and cultural issues of mainland China and Hong Kong.
