Chimaerasuchus paradoxus ("Paradoxical Chimera Crocodile") was a Chinese crocodilian from the Cretaceous. It was a long-legged creature, little over one meter in length. The four teeth in the very tip of its short snout gave it a "bucktoothed" appearance. Because of its few teeth (compared with almost all most other crocodilians) and its short snout, it is believed to have been an herbivore. Because of its long hindlegs, it was also suspected of being capable of rearing up on its hindlegs.
