Chick rock is a genre of rock music, classified by its female lead singers, and some bands with all female members. Such bands include Paramore, Everlife, Meg and Dia, Superchick, Fabrik, Famous Monsters, Deerhoof, Sleater-kinney, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Firey Furnaces, The Breeders, Bratmobile, Cat Power, Elastica, Frumpies, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Le Tigre, Portishead, Tegan and Sara, Sneaker Pimps, Freeze Pop, The Twigs, and many others.
