Chick Meehan

John F. "Chick" Meehan was a college football coach at Manhattan, New York, and Syracuse. From 1920 to 1924, he served as the head coach at Syracuse, where he compiled a 25-8-4 record. This total included back-to-back eight win seasons in 1923 and 1924. From 1925 to 1931, he followed up at New York, where he posted a 49-15-4 record. From 1932 to 1937, he coached at Manhattan, and compiled a 31-21-6 record.
