The Chicago Slaughter is a team in the Continental Indoor Football League scheduled to begin play in 2007. They will play their home games at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The team was originally intended to be a part of United Indoor Football, but due to a dispute with the league, it changed its course.
The team interviewed William "The Refrigerator" Perry and Steve "Mongo" McMichael from the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl XX championship team for the head coaching position. [1]. McMichael will be head coach, while Perry will be Director of Football Operations. [2]
