Chicago Riot Rugby

The Chicago Riot Rugby Team was started by a few UIC Old Boys, on January 20th 2007. Their goal was to create a local Chicago team that was not just focused on the game of rugby, but also on the social aspects of the game. The team's central location is the near Westside of the Chicago.

The team name was selected because of their Westside stomping grounds are in proximity of the location of 1886 Haymarket Riot.
