Chicago Australian Football Association

The Chicago Australian Football Association formed in 2004 by the merger of the Chicago Swans and the Chicago Sharks football clubs to provide an overall body for Australian rules football in Chicago, Illinois in the United States and runs as a Metro Footy competition.
The Chicago United are the representative team in the MAAFL.
The Chicago Swans (named after the Sydney Swans as part of a sponsorship arrangement) are the representative side in the USAFL for the USAFL National Championships.
