Chiang Rai International Airport (IATA: CEI, ICAO: VTCT) is located in Chiang Rai in the north of Thailand.
The airport is located about 8 kilometers from the city center. Since 1998 it is managed by the Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT).
The airport has over 500,000 passengers, 3,900 flights and 2,700 tons of cargo a year.
Although its name is Chiang Rai International Airport, and even though it has facilites for international flights, it is yet to service any international carriers.
