Chi Delta Beta (ΧΔΒ) Fraternity, Inc. fraternity is a local fraternity for men in the state of California. Chi Delta Beta was founded on November 22, 1994 at California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock, California. Chi Delta Beta is Multi-Cultural Fraternity and the only Multi-Cultural Fraternity at the California State University, Stanislaus campus.

[edit] Founding and early years

Chi Deta Beta was founded on November 22, 1994 at California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock, California.Chi Delta Beta is the result of 17 students who were in search of a fraternity that supported their personal beliefs in Education, Diversity and Brotherhood. Through intense searching on and around their campus they failed in finding the things that they were looking for. The 17 men then decided to start their own fraternity and incorporate their beliefs of higher education, multiculturalism, and brotherly love into a standards.

After establishing its strong foundation and membership Chi Delta Beta "Alpha Chapter" made a decision to expand its location and establish a chapter at California State University, Fresno. On December 13, 1997 Chi Delta Beta was founded on Fresno State campus by 11 founding brothers. Chi Delta Beta has had the highest recruitment classes the past 4 years at its Alpha chapter at California State University, Stanislaus. Due to its heavy popularity Chi Delta Beta is in the process of expansion to three campuses in the state.

Chi Delta Beta is a fraternity with a main emphasis on cultural diversity and multi-cultural awareness. Chi Delta Beta is a Multi-Cultural Fraternity committed to excellence. The Brothers of Chi Delta Beta provides all of its members with a strong foundation for each individuals leadership. Through brotherhood we reach out to support and strengthen each other. It is our role as brothers to stand by each other and help one another in what we can. Though the promotion of cultural diversity, education and leadership by means of brotherhood we stand side by side. Community services are one of many importance aspects of greek life. Chi Delta Beta contributes many hours of service to local and national charities.

Chi Delta Beta Fraternity currently has over 150 members across the state of California. It is a member of the National Executive Board Council. The Headquarters has been the Alpha Chapter at California State University, Stanislaus n Turlock, California since it was founded in 1994.
