I am Cheesy Mike - so called because I live in Cheddar in the UK, the place where the cheese of the same name comes from.

I am 43 years old and work as a techie for a large American computer company. My chief interest outside of work, apart from my family, is motorcycles - especially the BMW GS range. I am also a qualified pilot although I no longer fly. My two flat-coated retrievers keep me fit.

I volunteer as a rider and as webmaster for a UK-based charity Freewheelers EVS which provides a free-of-charge emergency motorcycle courier service to local hospitals, carrying blood, drugs, x-rays, notes and medical equipment.
