This page seems one big advertisement for an otherwise fine zoo. Also no references are listed except the zoo's home page, no doubt this article is a mere copy/paste of that. E.g. "As one of Europe's, and indeed the world's, foremost conservation-minded zoos" - that's a nice claim, but is it substantiated somewhere (other than the zoo's own page)? etc. Jalwikip 09:32, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

What do you mean it has a terrible article, i see nothing wrong with it. What exactly is so terrible about it?
- Compare it to another article of a similar topic. It's hideous. I've half a mind to rewrite it from scratch, if I could be bothered to. --Majorly 20:04, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have to agree, it is an advertisment - much of the language is not what you would expect from an encylcopaedic entry. Perhaps I will have the inclination to rework it soon! Pixie2000 (talk) 23:40, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
I have re-written the pages, tidied up the language and added citations. I have therefore removed the advertisment and citation templates - I hope people approve!! Pixie2000 (talk) 21:18, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

this article says their are 10 elephants at the zoo, but im not sure if its 9 or 10

sorry deleted it by mistake, i was going to add it back but then i though why? So until it's comfirmed i think we should not add it on unless whoever added it works at Chester Zoo or something Ae12079410 23:41, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
