Cheung Yin Tung

Cheung Yin Tung (張賢登) (born May 1, 1964) is a budding Yuen Long District Councillor (Wan Yat Constituency) and the Secretary of Democratic Party (Hong Kong).

Cheung Yin Tung was born in Hong Kong, and was a resident in Shung Ching New Village. He studied in Hung Yee Yuk Yuen Long District Secondary School, Institution of Education, and HKBU. Tung started his career by joining Voluntary Worker training course in 1981, and he started to lead the Hong Kong Federation of Students (香港專上學生聯會, HKFS) when he was studying in HKIEd.
Under support by Ng Ming Yam, decreed Legislative Councillor, he won a seat in Yuen Long District Board (West Yuen Long Town Constituency) in 1991. After 12 years, he won a seat in the Council (Wan Yat Constituency) again in 2003.
He participated in Legislative Council Election 2004 with Ho, Albert Chun-yan in terms of Democratic Party (Candidate list number 3, New Territories West Constituency), and is currently a teacher in a primary school.
