Chetput (aka Chetpet) is a suburb in Chennai. It is served by Chetput station in the Beach-Tambaram line of Chennai Suburban Railway.

Along with Egmore and Nungambakkam, Chetput is considered one of the original villages which was merged by the British to form Chennai.[1][2]
