Chester Schaeffer

Chester Schaeffer (1902- 1992) was an American film editor, mainly of B movies. He earned Oscar nomination in 1951 for the small scale drama The Well. Subsequent to that he edited three episodes of the Disney TV series Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier into one feature film in 1954. He also worked on the classic chiller The Tingler in 1959.
