Chester Academy

Chester Academy is a public secondary school located in Chester (town), New York. Their mascot is the Hambletonians, a famed racehorse that is the ancestor of nearly every racehorse in the United States. Chester Academy is a recently built school, construction starting in 2002. Students moved into the school from Chester Junior/Senior High School, located about 1.5 miles away, in 2004. There are 3 floors, and the school offers a varitey of sports at different levels: football at varsity, soccer at modified and varsity, baseball at modified, junior-varsity, and varsity, cheerleading, basketball at modified, JV, and varsity, as well as a varsity track and cross-country team.
