Chervony Khutir (Ukrainian: Червоний Хутiр, Russian: Красный Хутор, Krasny Khutor) is a station of the Kiev Metro that is presently under construction. The station's name arises from an old village Red Khutor that was subsequently absorbed into Kiev and is now a sight of several industries.

The station itself located amidst a woodland and initially it will unlikely to have any passengers at all. However, there is currently a much greater need for the station because it is right next to the construction of Kiev's third depot, also named the same, which is fully underway. The third depot for the Syretsko-Pecherska Line has been a much needed acquisition since the mid 1990s, however, due to financial difficulties and the recession construction only began in 2004. The station was based on the eventual plan to have the line snake around the southeastern districts of Kiev and then come back up northwestwards towards Darnytsia Railway Station and Darnytsia metro station of the Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska Line. In the mean time, the surrounding area will be redeveloped and new housing massives would justify the station.[1]

Chervony Khutir's layout is a pillar bi-span with side platforms, chosen out of simplicity and ease of construction. Its main theme would be a light tone and focused on the surrounding nature. Most of the decorative material will be high-tech fibreglass and traditional marble and granite carefully blended together. When the Metro development plan was altered and the station appeared, it was thought that the extension from Kharkivska would be completed in one stage with three stations and the depot. However, realistically, the Metro administration was forced to stretch the opening dates over two years. Presently, it is estimated that the station will become operational in November of 2007.
