Cherry Hill Arena
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cherry Hill Arena was an indoor arena located in Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey. The arena, which sat 4,416, hosted occasional home games of the Philadelphia Warriors and hosted the New Jersey Knights of the WHA for the 1973-1974 season. Previously, from 1964 through 1971, it was the venue used by the Jersey Devils of the Eastern Hockey League (no relation to today's New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League). The arena was not up to the standards of most major league hockey facilities - it only had one dressing room, forcing the opposing team to dress at their hotels before coming to the arena. The Cherry Hill Arena no longer stands, now it is a shopping center.
