Chernushka

Chernushka (Russian: Черну́шка) is a town in Perm Krai, Russia, located on the Chernushka River, 230 km south of Perm. Population: 35,713 (2002 Census); 34,835 (1989 Census).

It was first mentioned as a village in 1859. In 1919, a railway station was constructed near the village, the population of which grew as a result. It was granted town status in 1966.
