Cheri Blauwet

Cheri Blauwet is a wheelchair racer, who competed at the Olympic level.
At the 2004 Olympic Games, she finished 5th in the demonstration sport of Women's 800m wheelchair.
She attends the Stanford University Medical School currently.
She is active in improving conditions for people with disabilities in foreign, mainly third-world, countries. She recently went on a trip to Africa with professional football player Ray Lewis. There, she investigated and improved the disabled issues of the countries they visited. She also co-founded No-Breaks, a website for the contemporary voices of the disability rights movement.
