Chepauk

Chepauk is a locality in Chennai (Madras), in India. The name Chepauk is popularly used to refer to the M. A. Chidambaram International Cricket Stadium it houses. Chepauk is also home to the Chepauk palace, built in the Indo-Saracenic style.
The term Chepauk is often loosely used to refer to the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, which was formerly called Chepauk Stadium. The University of Madras campus is yet another prominent landmark of Chepauk.
The Chennai MRTS rail system passes through, and has a station at Chepauk.
