Chenango Valley State Park

Chenango Valley State Park is a state park located in Broome County, New York, USA. The park is located in western part of the Town of Fenton adjacent to the Chenango River.
The park offers a beach, picnic tables with pavilions, an 18 hole golf course, a playground, recreation programs, a nature trail, hiking, a campgound with tent and trailer sites, sledding, cross-country skiing, a boat launch with boat rentals, and a food concession.
The park includes a multitude of forests and wetland habitats, that often host large populations of woodpeckers, nuthatches, warblers and thrushes along woodland trails and herons, ducks and kingfishers lakeside. The mature woodlands are noted for a particularly large number of Pileated Woodpeckers. Fishermen will find trout, bass, perch and bullhead in Chenango Lake.
