Chen Wu

Chen Wu (陳武 or 陈武) was an army officer who served under Sun Ce.

Chen Wu was famous for having a face that was considered by many to be fierce and ugly. He first entered service under Sun Ce at age 18. Chen Wu was full of valor and always fought in the front lines of battle. He was known for his kindness – Sun Quan was very fond of him and often spent time at his home. In the Battle of Hefei, circa 215, Chen Wu fell in battle while dueling with Pang De.
