Chemische Berichte (usually abbreviated as Ber. or Chem. Ber.) is a German-language scientific journal featuring chemistry of all disciplines. Founded in 1868 as the Berichte der Deutschen Chemischen Gesellschaft, it is one of the oldest scientific journals. In 1997, Chemische Berichte was merged with a number of other leading national European chemistry journals to become the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry
