Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers (1984) is the sixth and final feature-length film centred around the comedy duo Cheech and Chong. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong star as the two brothers in a parody of various film adaptations of the classic Alexandre Dumas novel, The Corsican Brothers.

The film was not a critical success, and is regarded by the duo's fans as vastly inferior to their earlier films. Although some fans regard it as their best picture.

[edit] Plot

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers opens with the two aging stoners touring with their band throughout parts of France. Disliking their brand of music, the locals pay off the band to vacate and shortly after they meet a gypsy storyteller. She tells them the story of the Corsican brothers whom attempt to overthrow a corrupt government. After the story they resume their tour.

[edit] Trivia

  • This is the only Cheech and Chong film that has nothing to do with them smoking marijuana.
  • The DVD release contains original movie trailers. In one of the trailers a few deleted scenes are shown in which Louie meets Marie Antoinette along with more scenes involving the Corsican brothers parents.
