Cheddars
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cheddars are a brand of baked cheddar cheese-flavoured British-style savoury biscuit, made by McVitie's as an alternative to other snack foods such as fried potato crisps. They were originally manufactured and sold by Crawfords.
[edit] Mini Cheddars
Mini Cheddars were the result of product diversification by McVitie's as sales of their originals began to wane. They became increasingly popular in the early 1990s when their name was changed from Mini Cheddaries to a more adult friendly and appealing name, and soon new flavours were introduced under the name Mini Cheddars. Flavours include (as of summer 2006): BBQ Beef, Branston Pickle, Cheese & Onion and Mature Cheddar. A new range of crispier crinkled Mini Cheddars called Crinklys has been launched, with flavours such as Sweet Chilli and Cheese & Onion.
