[edit] A welcome from Sango123

Hello, Chcokr, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Wildstyle.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Wildstyle.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, ie in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --Secretlondon 05:47, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Sea of Japan

Your recent edit to Sea of Japan was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.--Endroit 13:02, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Sea betw k j.PNG

Could You write what was your data/map creation programme. I'd like to create a similar one, with some names on the map. I'll appreciate that. feydey 13:27, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

So You did not really create that map. From Talk:Google_Earth: Images/screenshots of Google Earth are copyrighted. Therefore, they can only be used if it's fair use. For example, an image of Google Earth used on the Google Earth article depicting Google Earth and/or the Google company would be considered as fair use, but using it to depict other items off-topicly (I.e. The building of a company not related to Google) would not be fair use as far as I know. It would be great to have a source of free satellite images, though... I believe that most NASA images are not copyrighted.
